Flag Football Saturday.

March 28, 2009 family, football, nick 5

Today was the first game in Spring Flag Football. It’s not huge like fall tackle is, spring competes with Little League baseball, but the few boys that came out will get play time and experience. The age group is BROAD….ages 11-14~! Nick is so small, but he’s fast, so he was having fun.
Above he is running down the field.

Huddling up
Nick was the center……..hut!

And there ya go!

Waiting for a ball………look at the opponent in white

After the play

They keep score by goals scored, and we lost, but only 3-2, it was funny, the bigger boys had a hard time grabbing the flags on the smaller boys.
It was a nice hour spent cheering for the boys, getting some sun, and being a family.

Only one more day to enter for the book give away……….see the post below! Good luck

What a beautiful family you have! Thank you so much for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comments! How fun that you and Denise are going to have the opportunity to meet up in real life! So fun!

I also have 3 children – 2 girls and a boy, but mine are a little older than yours are. My son was in the middle of the 2 girls.

I look forward to getting to know you better! Thanks again for stopping by and I hope you’ll be back!

I’ve always enjoyed watching kids play sports. Even now, with mine grown, I can watch them play soccer on Saturdays at a near by field. Enjoy while you can, it’s fleeting. 🙂

Hi Anita…. I know I have been a long lost friend lately. I am back though. It has been so busy around here, just when I get a breather…. I have something else I have to take care of. Your blog looks awesome as usual! I miss you so much. I promise not to be a crappy friend anymore… LOL Looks like you guys are doing very well and your kids are adorable as usual. I can’t wait for my son to play flag football, how fun! Love your easter decorations too. I miss you girl, and lets catch up. 😉 Take care and have a blessed week!
