Short pictoral from the Keys

April 14, 2009 vacation 14

Here we go!! Starting out with the shot in the driveway, my parents always had some version of this as we started vacation, usually everyone with new shades on. Notice my son and husband blinded by the son, with eyes closed….Kevin thought he had shades on and it didn’t matter…silly man!

We hit the Keys, sunroof open, hat on Kevn’s head……..going south.
I raise my arms to the air…………yay…..vacation!
Three silly backseat kids
A car window shot, the water is gorgeous!!!
Not long after check in…..”mom don’t take my picture now”
Sombrero Beach, near Marathon……..gorgeous
A view from the restaurant where we ate dinner…….nearing sunset.
Islamorada Fish Company, great atmosphere, just ok food.
For my parents, a shot of the kids all sticking out of the sun roof, gorgeous ocean behind them.
I have a whole ten shot series of one sunset, I’ll try to get it up tomorrow. I have 86 pictures total, and when I get them up on the Kodak site if you really want to see them I’ll share. Great fun!

Great pictures! Love the one of the sunset best. Looks like a postcard. Will the warm weather ever get to New England this year?

Wow! Gorgeous! I love South Florida… Don’t usually go all the way to the Keys, though… was down in Feb and headed back in June – not soon enough! Thanks for sharing!!!

Beautiful pics! The only parts of FL I’ve been too are Orlando, Coco Beach, Daytona, New Smyrna and Kissimee. Always wanted to go further south. Looks beautiful! I can almost feel the warm breeze from here!

Pretty pics!! I’m glad you were all able to enjoy your vacation so much. Maybe it’ll have to be an annual trip to escape life for a bit 🙂

Beautiful! I can smell the salty air and feel the sun and warm breeze. For me, the ocean down there smells different than the ocean here in small state, smells different than the ocean in Maine, smells totally different than the ocean anywhere on the left coast. I would love to see the sunset photos. Back in the old film days, I shot 72 photos of one sunset. I know how it happens – every moment is a work of art! Great vaca. shots! More, please!
