Friday Five, and oops

April 17, 2009 Uncategorized 10

First off, big ooops on my part, while trying to freshen up my blog, add my books from good reads etc, I took off an HTML on the side, I didn’t know what it was………well hello, it was the background color to my blog@@@, so Elizabeth from Small Town Blessings..…….help, she was the one who helped me with my header colors etc.

I’m running late, shouldn’t be here, meant to blog today about my other daughter Caitie and where she is off to……….but……….maybe later, I have to have dinner with Kevin and the mucky mucks of the Credit Union, free dinner out, so not complaining, and I even had to hire a sitter for Nick, 4 hours alone at night is too long.

I am THANKFUL for!:
1. Wonderful kids that are outgoing and doing so well
2. Friends and 3 hours at the beach, but a long walk that made my legs hurt.
3. Good books and friends to share them with.
4. Blogging friends that introduce me to new things
5. My husband………..for the life he shares with me………always.

TGIF everyone, and have a wonderful weekend.

I get a night out with the hubs tonight, too – muckety muck free, so, yay!

Sounds like you do, indeed, have a lot to be thankful for.

Great list Anita! SO wish we lived closer so I could meet your kids, go for walks, and talk about Real Housewives and Bible Study! Have a great night tonight, and a wonderful weekend! πŸ™‚

No problem πŸ™‚ I can help you fix it! I’ve done that so many times.

You made me LOL at mucky mucks of the credit union!

A four hour date with your husband? (I know, and the mucky mucks) Sounds like fun! The chef and I have to “spot” each other, keeping watch over the elders, most especially my mom…so we are having our first “date” this very morning at 7 am. We are going to Lowes to buy lighting for the addition. My sister is going to sit with the elders. I like reading about what you’re thankful for, Anita. It reminds us all to stop and think.

Congrats on getting your book list up! Looks great. The Namesake is one of my all time favorites!

Congrats, too, to your awesome daughter! I bet she has a wonderful time! Philly is a great city.

Love your Friday Five. Always good to count your blessings!
