Homecoming 2009

November 2, 2009 Uncategorized 13

Homecoming 2009 was this past Saturday night. A Halloween homecoming, and they didn’t even use that as a theme. It was instead a Cinderella theme…………go figure.
Caitie attended with her long time beau Shayn. Adrienne opted to not go this year, she said it’s just not her thing. I love Adrienne and it still sort of broke my heart………I guess I want her to hear my music, but she does indeed march to a different drummer.
The met for pictures and went out to dinner with 3 other couples and a couple extra girls, shown above. The dress that looks like Caitie’s was not exactly like hers and not as lovely on the other girl..(snide mom showing oops).

Ok, I know she’s mine and I’m so partial, but that is one gorgeous girl! Ah to be young and like Cinderella again…………..

Awww…Catie is so beautiful! And you’re right, she did wear it better;) Adrienne and I hear the same music–I never went to any of the homecoming dances and reluctantly went to the big one–the senior prom:)

The other girl needs to stand up straight! Catie was wearing hers with absolute confidence! Not a lot better looking than that! She and her beau both look just great.

“I want her to hear my music”… that was really beautifully put, Miss Anita! Very poignant!

She IS beautiful and “he” ain’t bad either!!! Way to go girl…oh and the dress…very similar but WAY better on your daughter! I am not anxious for the days of dances and dress shopping!

Caitie looks absolutely radiant. Glad she had a good time. As long as Adrienne is comfortable about not going to homecoming I think it’s OK. To each his own, right?

What a pretty dress and a beautiful girl indeed! I didn’t realize they wore the shorter styles these days. I’m getting old. I like them though!

Gorgeous is right! What a great looking group of kids!

Now that my kids have graduated from high school, I so miss the homecomings, proms, and formals that they attended. They always were alot of fun me too.

Oh, your daughter is gorgeous! Beautiful indeed! Hope you are feeling better from your cold, and I’m glad to hear your daughters shoulder is just tendenitis…although I know that’s very very painful!
