Saturday Ramblings

February 27, 2010 Uncategorized 8

It’s a mixed bag of a day here in our house.  Here is what’s been happening til now…….noon.
Adrienne was up early to go to an SGA district meeting in Orlando, the bus left the HS at 7am.
Kevin and I snuggled in bed til @ 7:45 and then he got up and started making breakfast……..or should I say a feast!!!  We had bacon, sausage(not everyone likes one thing).  eggs, fried potatoes with some onion, biscuits, and donuts…..Nick is a funny kid!  We woke the kids @ 8:30 and we had a great meal.
Kevin did some yard pick up, till the rain set in.
Caitie went to pick up the car at the HS and now she is off to shop for things for the Anchor club convention skit next weekend.  She’s hitting thrift stores now.
Nick is working on his science fair project.
How does Yeast effect the decomposition of bread, banana, and apple?  I know you are anxious to learn the results…………..I’ll keep you posted….ha ha!!!
Now  you may notice I’ve not told you what I’ve been doing.  Well sitting mostly at my desk, pecking at the keyboard, reading blogs, reading facebook, researching “stuff”.
Oh and here is Bella!
These were this week, since her haircut.
Maybe I’ll at least shower and get dressed..what the heck!

Oooh, I can’t wait for the day when I get to go wake up my kids as opposed to the other way around! Hope you had a nice weekend!

I played with yeast on Saturday too – and made it into cinnamon rolls. Hope Nick doesn’t eat any of his yeast experiments!

Oh, I remember a few years ago, one of my kids friends did this project for their science fair. Gosh, those fairs are a LOT of work!

Oh yummm..that breakfast sounded delightful. Snuggling in bed? That sounds good too. We never do that, something for me to think about!

Bella is just precious. Let us know how the Science Fair project turns out.
