Sunday Peace

May 1, 2011 Uncategorized 6

It’s very early Sunday morning, almost 1am.  I am a night owl by nature, I always enjoy my quiet time, but late at night is the best, I seem to get a second wind and have all this energy and thoughts of creative endeavors.
Saturday morning I ordered invites to the grad party from Tiny Prints…have you used them?  They are so creative and sweet, I chose a simple design.  I considered just using e-vites but I love holding something in my hands.  Others must agree with me because in the mail today we received a grad party invite from Tiny Prints.  I showed the guest list and menu to the girls, they approved.  Sodas were on sale at CVS and we bought several.  I picked up some cute grad napkins at Target.  I bought a card and Mother’s Day gift for my mom.  I am looking for unique grad gifts for several HS seniors and also my nephew who is graduating from college.  I like a small gift and then maybe some cash or a GC.  Any suggestions?

I feel good, I feel like I got something done.

Teaser for books I’m reading or have bought recently.

The first two I am finishing very soon, and the other two I hope to complete in short order……reviews soon, and what I can say is each of these authors is generous and kind and so eager to reach new readers.  Look for them….no disappointments I promise.

Now time to read and then sleep….as Sunday morning will arrive in a blink of an eye, and church and the remainder of the day will be upon me.

Do what makes you happy, and share your joy and smile with the world.

    Hey Anita..

One thing I do with grad cards is give a 20 dollar bill and then whatever change equals the year so you would have this year 20 11…kinda fun when the kids figure it out! I also try to do fun summer type gifts…like beach towels…or anything college bound…gas cards…etc!

I haven’t read any of those! My quiet time is early in the morning before the rest of the world wakes up! Sometimes 4am more often 5am – I love my quiet time.

I know we have talked about it before, but The Weird Sisters is just such a great book. I used to be a night owl too, but lately, I seem to be going to bed very early and getting up early to work. I find that I am most creative in the early morning, which is surprising to me.

I’m so behind. I’m starting from your latest and I will work my way back to see what I’ve missed!

I love your book reviews! Can’t wait for those.

I love when I can get around early in the morning and catch up on my favorite blogs and emails but obviously haven’t done that lately.

    Did you get my card?

I finished Left Behind this week and while I did like it, I like Genova’s Still Alice more. Weird Sisters is on my list of books to read. I’m not familiar with the other two, but will look into them. Looking forward to your reviews.
