Two weeks….really

July 31, 2011 Uncategorized 5

I can’t believe it’s been two weeks!!
There is just so much going on here.
Home from TX, then 2 days later off to Jacksonville for the UNF orientation with Caitie.  We had a great time, she’s totally in love with her school of choice and she’s very excited she is now registered with her classes.  She’s got a great schedule too, I think.
So another busy week has gone by since then and I worked 28 hours, picking up an extra shift and loved getting those!!
Today was fabulous with us sleeping in, going out to lunch, on mom’s earnings(yay for some extra $$ too) then picking up a few college dorm/apartment things at Bed Bath and Beyond and then getting Nick’s football cleats too.  We decided we would take in a movie and we all agreed on Captain America, and really it was good.  We all enjoyed it.

I continue to really love working at B&N, each day brings in different types of readers and some return customers that I am getting to know my name and preferences.  It’s so enjoyable.
I will admit that working has cut into my reading time…ugh.  When I’m home I still need to clean, cook, do laundry etc and with all kids home for summer, my week day time alone is zero.  That will be changing soon, Nick starts school August 10.  Adrienne moves into her apartment August 13, and Caitie moves into  her dorm August 19.  I’ll let you know how that quiet is.
I hope to have some book reviews up soon, maybe a movie review or two, and some pictures too, of my girls moving out, and beginning new adventures.

Gosh, it does sound like you are having all kinds of adventures over there! I am going to have to drop by the store and say hi sometime. Have fun and make sure you get some relaxation in!

I’ve been away from blogging for awhile and it seems I’ve missed quite a lot! Glad your trip to TX was such a success. I’m so happy to hear that you had such a special time with your dad.

I’m also so happy to hear that Caitie is still so excited about her school following orientation. I clearly remember last year, after my Katie’s orientation, how she felt like she had chosen the wrong school. (Thankfully, she loved it once she started).

Big changes are coming for your family soon. I’m sure it will take some adjusting, but you’ll be fine!
