It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? October 14 2013

October 14, 2013 It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 3

Hosted by Sheila from Book Journey, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, and any other bookish happening we want to share
I finished three books in print this week, and one on audio.  Not a stellar week considering I also participated in Dewey’s 24 Hour Read-a-thon on Saturday.  I probably read 8-10 hours in total, that’s including breaks and naps and meals.  There was also a college football game that distracted me.  I read  two and half books or 580 pages total.  My feeling is those are books/pages I wouldn’t have read if I had just been reading at a normal pace.  They were also books I’ve had on my shelves for a while!  Yay for clearing that up!
Here’s what I read:

In Audio:

Book reviews later this week, all enjoyable.

What I’m reading: I’ve had this ARC since spring and I met the author at the Decatur Book Festival.  Loving this one and hoping to finish soon. Sometimes funny, sometimes thought provoking, but I great debut novel.

I’m not sure what I’m reading next. much of what I choose is just going to be based on how I feel that day. I have a couple that publish in the next week, not sure I can get “into” them.  There is a  YA book launch signing Thursday night, and I’d like to finish that one…again…mood.  It’s just mid month, but November books are calling my name….I just want them!!

So that’s my plan….how was your week?  What are you reading?  Any big plans for reading this week?  I’d love to know!  Happy reading.

Thanks for stopping by my blog.

We do have similar tastes. We also have similar degrees. Maybe that is why we like the same books. 🙂

I saw on your google page that you have a Management/Marketing Degree. I have a Business Degree with a minor in Marketing. 🙂

    Have a great day.
