It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? October 21, 2013

October 21, 2013 It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 8

Hosted by Sheila from Book Journey, this is a weekly event to share what we’ve read in the past week and what we hope to read, and any other bookish happening we want to share

I finished two books this past week. I enjoy this one, you can check out the review here.

This one I just finished and haven’t reviewed yet.  It’s YA, but reads so well, so honest.  The author lives near me in Orlando, and I’ve met her a couple of times, she’s very nice, and I’m hoping to have a guest post by her soon.

What I’m reading is less clear.  I started We are Water by Wally Lamb, and while it’s excellent it’s just not what I want to read right now.  I’ve got a The Elementals I’m suppose to be reading with my Hashtag group, and I’ve yet to pick it up….not doing too well :(.  I’m struggling in audio too, but I’ve previewed a few things and think I have a few ideas.

So in other book news these are the titles coming up soon.
Gracious Living Without Servants  by Brenda Cronin
Hush Little Baby by Suzanne Redfearn
The Whole Golden World by Kristina Riggle
Dollface: A Novel of the Roaring Twenties by Renee Rosen
Someone Else’s Love Story by Joshilyn Jackson
The Pieces We Keep by Kristina McMorris
The Theory of Opposites by Allison Winn Scotch
Stella Bain by Anita Shreve
Morning Glory by Sarah Jio
The Good Boy by Theresa Schwegel

So from this list, what looks good to you?  Only one has an absolute firm review date, so what should I read next??

I look forward to hearing about what you’re reading.  Have a wonderful week!!

I’m so excited over JJ’s new book, I can’t stand it. I have the hard copy but I made a solemn promise to myself years ago that I would never read her books in print. So I am waiting patiently for the library to get the audio.

I’d have a hard time choosing between three of the books: The Whole Golden World, Someone Else’s Love Sotry and Morning Glory. Don’t think you can go wrong with any of them. Have a great reading week.
