The best part of this meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey is visiting other blogs and discovering more books I want to read! Check out the link and find something new. Others talk about books they’ve read, what they’re reading, and what’s up next!!
I finished two books last week.
The Book of You is a study in unappreciated stalking. Check out my review.
I’m still reading Goodnight June by Sarah Jio, and listening to I’d Know You Anywhere by Laura Lippman. Very different, but good. I seem to keep taking on so many review copies, a happy hazard of book blogging. Audio is one the avenue I keep taking to read/listen to older titles. I am loving the anticipation in this Laura Lippman book, she doesn’t fail to keep me wanting more!!
This was a big weekend on twitter for people who love books. Alison over on The Book Wheel got a lot of people talking about supporting authors who are being negatively impacted by a dispute between Amazon and Hachette Book Group. #ReadHachette is a grassroots effort to support our favorite author at Little Brown, Grand Central Publishing and more. There is also a petition from Alison and Jennifer at Book-alicious Mama. Check it out, lend your support if you wish.
I’ve got a couple more May pub books I’m hoping to finish and then, good grief help me I’ve got so many June books I’d like to read!! Wish me luck!
So let me know what you’re reading 🙂
