It’s Monday January 26! What Are You Reading?

January 26, 2015 It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 5

Thank you to Sheila at Book Journey for hosting this weekly event.  It’s a place to share about book you’re reading, have read, plan to read and dangerously a place to add more books to your TBR list.  You’ve been warned.

I finished one book last week.

The Same Sky

Don’t miss this book, I hope to have my review up this week, but it is amazing.

I DNF last week’s audio choice, so I started a new one.  This author will be speaking at the UCF Book Festival in April.  Sandy highly recommended this one on audio, and while it’s filled with many footnotes and asides, it’s very powerful and engaging.  I’m only 26% in and it’s so disturbing.

Five Days at Memorial

I’m reading this, almost done, and again enjoying Mike Greenberg’s talent for writing fiction.

My Father's Wives

I’m also reading a February release book by my good friend Judy Walters.  This one is about a family with an adult brother who has autism.  He doesn’t speak, but Walters takes us into his thoughts.  It’s a very good read!  You can pre-order from Amazon now, ebook or paperback.

The Place to say Goodbye

Next up….total guessing game, but I’m thinking The Magicians Lie by Greer Macallister.

Happy Reading, keep an eye on my Instagram(Anitalovesbooks) for the new books I received this week. A lovely stack!!

I also bought a second cover for my Erin Condren planner, I’m slightly obsessed!

Yes it’s difficult to read/listen, and I often want to scream that people made such awful choices..UGH!!

I want to read Five Days At Memorial, but I know it’s going to devastating. I think I’m trying to wait for a good time, if such a thing exists…
