It’s Monday, February 16! What Are You Reading?

February 16, 2015 It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 12

Happy Monday all!! I’m happy to be here, sharing books with all my friends.  Thanks to Sheila at Book Journey for helping us link up and share with even more readers!

I had a really good week, I stopped what I was reading and picked up this book.

My Sunshine Away

Other bloggers had been talking about this book, and I knew I better pick it up.  I read it in two days, not usual for me, but it was so well written.

I also finished this book.

Crazy Love You

In addition to finishing this new psychological thriller from Lisa Unger, she visited my favorite Indie Bookstore, Vero Beach Book Center, last Monday night.  I was to introduce her, but instead we wound up doing an interview style discussion.  It was so much fun and I think the audience enjoyed it too.  I can never express how much I love my Indie.

I’m currently reading two books.

Queen Sugar The Secrets of Midwives

I’m still listening to The Italian Wife by Ann Hood.

Lots of good books to read this month…I hope you’ve found a few.

Please share what you’re reading!

My Sunshine Away was definitely worth dropping whatever else you were reading for! I’ve also seen the Lisa Unger (how fun to get to “interview” her!) and Secrets of Midwives around a lot lately.

My Sunshine Away has got me really intrigued. Everyone is talking about it. I am hoping to win a copy in one of the many giveaways around the blogosphere! I am reading a book on the Holocaust by a local author for a feature in our paper, TRIUMPH OVER DESTINY. I had to abandon LEAVING TIME by Jodi Picoult due to deadlines, so I’d like to get back to that this week.

I’m looking forward to My Sunshine Away and The Secrets of Midwives. I got got to attend an author event at my Indie bookstore a couple weeks ago for Queen Sugar.

I don’t think My Sunshine Away is out in the UK, yet. I’m dying to read it. I’m getting a real buzz from all the US blogs about it!
