It’s Monday December 7! What Are You Reading?

December 7, 2015 It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 6

WhatAreYouReading-300x272

Thank you to Kathryn at The Book Date for hosting this weekly meme.  It’s a wonderful place to fine all kind of books to listen to and read.  I warn you it’s most likely you will be adding to your TBR list!

I’ve been having a mixed up reading life!  It’s been going on for a couple of months which is why my posting has been so sparse. I can’t seem to sit down and read like I always have.  Some of my time is being sucked up by trivial online time and some is by real life things…family, home, you know “life”.  I feel very frustrated.  I feel guilty because I still receive books to be considered for review and I feel some sense of responsibility to read and review those books.  I’m hoping to change this trend very soon!!!

Currently Reading:

 Coal River Corrupted

I’m enjoying both these books.  I’ve read books by both Ellen Marie Wiseman and Lisa Scottoline before, and I would feel safe in saying you can’t go wrong with any of their books!

I’m not really listening to a book right now.  I have a Christmas book I’ve listened to before and have re-played, because it’s nice, but it’s not doing anything for me.  I think I bought a couple of new audios so maybe I’ll see what I have.  If you have suggestions for something light I’d love them!

So I need to get gifts wrapped, and finish my last few gift purchases and a few other decorating projects around the house.  Never a dull moment!

I hope you are all well…please share what you’re reading, and and suggestions to get out of my funk are appreciated!!

You know, you do the best you can. I understand how life gets in the way sometimes. I hope you’re able to carve out more reading time once holiday prep is done.

I hear you on the slump. I still find it easier and more fun to play online games or brush up on a foreign language than to read, color, sew, or pretty much do anything else I used to enjoy doing. The truly odd part is that I still enjoy all of that but cannot summon the energy to pull out the coloring books or the cross-stitch project or get my book. I am hoping to change that over the next few weeks!
