It’s Monday January 25! What Are You Reading?

January 25, 2016 It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 7

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It’s a great post to organise yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date. And here we are!

I have been having a great reading month!  I’ve kind of jumped all over the place, and now I’m trying really hard to get back into my writing mojo!   I think of my blog daily, I think of my book blogging friends daily too, but I’ve just had this odd stammering kind of problem sitting down to write.  It’s officially over!!  I am going to put my butt into a chair with my laptop and write!!  I want to share reviews, and new books I’m hearing about, and book events and on and on!  I hope I haven’t lost my entire readership and that you’ll come back to see me.

This month I have read, or listened to:

The Guest RoomFuriously Happy Missing Pieces What was Mine

Remarkably I enjoyed all these books!!!  Reviews are coming up!

I’m currently reading two books…no surprise right..LOL

Only Love Can Break Your Heart The Forgotten Room

Tonight I’m attending an event for The Forgotten Room, I can’t wait to see Karen White and Beatriz Williams again, meet Lauren Willig for the first time.  Should be a fun night!! I’m sure I’ll be tweeting and sharing photos on Instagram too.

On audio I’m listening to Stephen King

Finders Keepers

I’m only a couple of hours in but I’m really enjoying, the narrator is Will Patton, and he does a wonderful job.

I have no idea what’s up next.  So many good movies based on books, thinking I should read or listen to Brooklyn before I see it.  We saw Room today…so well done…highly recommend.

Hope you’ll share what you’re reading!!

I’m so glad you’re reading Only Love Can Break Your Heart…I really loved it and feel like it hasn’t gotten the attention it deserves! My review will go up on Thursday!

I’m sure The Forgotten Room event was wonderful… lucky you to be able to attend! The audio version of Brooklyn was very good. A quite story, but well-written. I was happy to discover the movie is still playing down here… missed it at home, but planning to see it sometime this week.

I really want to see Room – it is a favourite book of mine – but I’ll be waiting until the DVD is out because cinema trips are few and fair between for us.

The Stephen King book sounds good. I’ve read very few Stephen King books but he is an author I hope to delve in to a little more in the future.

    Happy reading!
