It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? June 19

June 19, 2017 It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 7

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

I finished one book, and my review is part of a virtual tour and will post tomorrow. I hate it when I’m less than thrilled with books I’ve committed to reviewing for a specific event.  I think this is my cue to stop.  Accepting review books is less of an on demand situation.  I always try to read and review, but if the book really isn’t for me, I admit my defeat and move on.

This week I hope to read more but I may be distracted as we are prepping for a trip to Seattle.  Kevin has to work a couple of days but we are staying a week and in tourist/vacation mode.  I can’t wait.  Food/travel/any recommendations greatly appreciated!!

June is really a phenomenal month for new book publications!  Looking forward to these and then July has a few I’m anxious to share as well.

Happy reading, I hope you’ll share your current reads as well.

Yeah, I’ve pretty much quit taking tour books – it’s hard to read on demand like that. You’ve might have enjoyed that book more at another time when you didn’t feel pressed to read it. I hope you have a blast in Seattle.

Enjoy your trip! I have never been to Seattle, but I thought Portland and that part of the northwest to be absolutely lovely.

June IS a phenomenal month for new releases. September is too. Between those two months, I have more review copies than I normally read in six months!
