It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? November 6

November 6, 2017 It's Monday! What Are You Reading? 14

It’s Monday! What Are You Reading? is a place to meet up and share what you have been, are and about to be reading over the week.  It’s a great post to organize yourself. It’s an opportunity to visit and comment, and er… add to that ever growing TBR pile! So welcome in everyone. This meme started with J Kaye’s Blog   and then was taken up by Sheila from Book Journey. Sheila then passed it on to Kathryn at the Book Date.

I had a fairly productive week in reading and blogging, it’s been very good to be back in some groove.  We spent one night in south Florida visiting our son, he is a student at Florida Atlantic University.  We did the usual eating out, shopping but had a fun evening with him and many of his fraternity brothers of Pi Kappa Alpha.  We’ve had some nice weather here, most days just hitting 80-82 with cooler nights.  Looking forward to cooler temps soon, Florida is the most difficult place to live for a former midwesterner who really misses Autumn.

Finished Last week:

Currently Reading:

Wonder has been on my shelves since it was new, I was working at Barnes and Noble the summer after it published and everyone was reading it, teachers, middle schoolers, all.  I bought it, and it has sat, waiting.  With the movie coming out I want to read the book first, because we all know the books are always better..right 😉

Currently Listening:

Just 10% in but really hooked

I’m nearly done with this one, each chapter shocking and so spot on about what is going on with our current political nightmare.

What’s Next:

Last week I shared several books I’d like to read, but left this one out.  This psychological thriller publishes later this month and I think I need a good thriller.

I hope you’ll share what you’ve been reading lately, and I hope it’s a great book!

I loved Wonder and I must look out for when the movie comes out. I’d like to read the Amy Sue Nathan book and am semi interested in the Hilary Clinton book.

  2. Sarah's Book Shelves

How was Sisters First? I have that one…deciding whether I want to read it.

I enjoyed it, it’s a very quick read and while I have political differences with GWB, and other issues with the Bush family I believe they raised Jenna and Barbara away from the spotlight as much as possible and I think both girls have done very well. I like Jenna on the TODAY show. I think it’s very worth the time 😉

I want to read Wonder too. I’ve seen it everywhere and never picked it up. I may check it out from my local library and read it. Books are always better!! Have a great week and happy reading!

  4. Kathy Martin

Nice assortment of books! I bought Wonder and threw it on my TBR mountain too. However, I donated it when I was packing to move and never took the time to read it. The movie trailers I’ve seen look good. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

Our weather is so up and down right now it’s driving me crazy.

It sounds like a fun visit with your son – I’ve heard FAU has a gorgeous campus.

    You’re gonna love Wonder!

  6. Laurel-Rain Snow

I want to read Wonder…and I have Poison, waiting for me to start soon.

I’ve read one Wiley Cash book (The Dark Road to Mercy), so I’m curious about this one.

Definitely wanting to read the Hilary Rodham Clinton book.

Enjoy your week, and here are MY WEEKLY UPDATES
